Today's Tip: Running Toliets

Many people will tell you to just tighten the bolts on the bottom of the toliet and it will have a harder time running off but those people should be shot full of drugs and locked away.

If your like me you come across a toliet that leaks a little water from the tank to the bowl. This is often caused by a bad seal. A quick fix for this is some vasoline on the seal and it should stop the flow of water for a while, at least long enough for you to procrastinate a few weeks!

So, turn off the water to the toilet, drain the tank (press that little lever on the outide of the tank), and then lather up the area where the water goes down into the toilet bowl (there should be a seal there or a flapper. You can put the vasoline onto either one.

Becareful about using other lubes as they may damage the seal or other components...
